Day first:
Breakfast:

One slice of watermelon

Zesty Hamburger Scarsdale Recipes (and Meals)
Shopping list:
One pound of slim ground chuck
One tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
One teaspoon of ground pepper
One teaspoon of garlic powder
A small finely chopped onion
Mix all the ingredients together. Divide the slices into four equally portioned hamburgers. Grill for fifteen minutes or until juices run clear.

Salad:

One finely crushed beef bouillon cube
0.5 x teaspoon of ground black pepper
Mix the ingredients for the dressing together and let it stand for 15 minutes.
Mix the vegetables in a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss again. Makes four servings from one cup.
Seasoned Fish with Japanese Vegetables Scarsdale Diet Recipes (and Meals)
Four six-ounce fillets of tilapia (or other white fish).
One lemon, cut into wedges
Two cups of fresh green beans
Two carrots, grated
0.5 x medium red onion
One green pepper, de-seeded and sliced
One cup of chopped fresh mushrooms
One cup snow peas (do not substitute regular peas)
Place the Tilapia fillets in a pan sprayed with vegetable spray. Sprinkle salt, pepper, thyme, oregano and ginger powder over them. Steam until done. Remove from pan and squeeze one lemon slice over each fillet. Set aside. While the pan is still hot, add the vegetables to the pan (reserving all the liquid from cooking the fish in the pan). Saute the vegetables over medium heat until they are soft but still firm. When the vegetables are cooked, place four equal portions on plates and top with the fish fillets. Serve. Makes four servings.
