A football playing nation must first qualify for the qualifiers that take place before the big event if they want to qualify. So far, 32 teams have been selected for the month-long competition.

The 19th FIFA World Cup series will be hosted and kicked off in South Africa, taking place from June 11 to July 11, 2010. The first African nation to host the World Cup will be Africa’s South. Zakumi, the event’s mascot, is an adorable leopard-like cartoon animal with green hair and a yellow body. A perfect slogan was chosen for this occasion: “Zakum’s Game is Fair Play.” The matches will be played over a period of one month in ten different countries.
